Camp John Hay: A Home Away From Home

Last weekend, we decided to take a long drive to Baguio to have a breathe of fresh air and to basically just get away from it all. And with the SCLEX, it made Baguio all the more accessible. It only took us 4 and a half hours but left Q.C. area at 430am so that probably explains why there was not as much traffic. So after a long drive, we finally made it and we knew we made the right choice when we arrived at our destination.

The front of the forest cabin

It was just for a night due to our hectic schedule so we decided to splurge and indulge ourselves and stayed in one of the forest cabins in Camp John Hay. For PHP12,000.00 / night, it may sound expensive but once you think about it, it's pretty reasonable because the forest cabin has 3 bedrooms with 3 t&b (there was a leak in the bathroom in the first floor though). So, in retrospect, it actually fits 3 families or in our case, one big family. The cabin had complete amenities including a kitchen with cooking utensils, pots, pans, rice cooker, stove, oven, and plates allowing us to cook to our hearts' content. An added bonus was the hot and cold water dispenser.  Plus, the cabin was tastefully decorated with a beautifully landscaped garden and a swing in the garden to just sit back, relax, and enjoy the cool breeze. But what made it really special, especially for the kids, was the pit for a bonfire in the back where they enjoyed being with family, roasting marshmallows, and eating hotdogs.

It was like being home away from home.

The living room with a fireplace (It's too bad the fireplace was not working)
The dining area. If you look closely, you can see the kitchen in the top right-hand corner of the picture.
Another view of the living room.
The master bedroom.
The garden in the back. The pathway leads to a swing.

I was curious if you ever thought of changing the structure of your site?

Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the
way of content so people could connect with it better.
Youve got an awful lot of text for only having 1 or 2 images.
Maybe you could space it out better?
